My resin floor in no time!
Our constant research for new and practical solutions to facilitate the work of a growing number of people who apply a versatile product such as resin (often complex and requiring specific technical preparation), has pushed the NAICI laboratories to create a product that respects the high quality standards imposed by the company but at the same time, accessible to a greater number of professionals working in the construction sector. It’s this philosophy of thought and the advancement in architectural design of the past years that gave life to ‘Matèrika’: this revolutionary resin which is breaking down complexities, combines aesthetic beauty with simplicity of application. Matèrika is a mono-component and fibre-reinforced resin paste applied by spatula, designed for the decoration of indoor floors, walls and surfaces in general. The exclusive formula made of precious resins and the presence of microfibers creates aesthetic and waterproof surfaces, guaranteeing excellent resistance to compression and structural micro movements. The product can be applied directly on the most common surfaces, such as tiles, screeds, and gypsum and cement boards, eliminating completely the invasive and expensive support preparations. Also, it does not require the use of glass mesh reinforcement on surfaces less than twenty square meters. All these factors considerably reduce the delivery and working times. But the benefits of this product do not stop there. In fact, being a mono-component resin and ready to use product eliminates all those difficult product procedures related with resins. Matèrika is ecological and water based and can be applied safety even in small living spaces. It is easily applied by steel spatula with an optimum degree of viscosity that allows a pleasant product flow making it easily malleable and customised.

Materika is colourless and can be coloured with water-based colouring pastes (also integrated tinting systems). The choice of colour is a fundamental but it’s not the only thing, to customize a contemporary, metropolitan or classic environment.
The materiality is a matter of style and personality and that is why NAICI offers the possibility to "regulate" the degree of porosity of its finishes. In fact, in order to obtain a smooth and delicate Materika effect on floors or walls, with a lower degree of porosity, it is possible to use Matèrika light. The final coat is enhanced with the use of a special matt transparent polyurethane finish called, K Finish and completed with a resin polish called KWAX (as with any other resin coating of floors and walls). Matèrika complements well with all modern decorative trends, expressing its identity through effects that reflect the mood of modern architecture.
